In The Tavern

Submission for the Music Composer Jam #2.

The goal was to create an original track inspired by a theme: "The Sea".

I decided to go with a more intimate, acoustic sound this time, to convey a vibe of a port tavern. The idea was to start with a rather relaxed theme for people just chilling, drinking, and having fun in general in the seaside tavern. Then in the B part of the track we get some drama: perhaps some pirates started fighting, some tables got flipped, some beers got spilled... even more fun commence!

Guitar and mandolin were recorded (even though my mandolin chops ain't what they used to be...), the rest is VST. I used mostly NI libraries, with exception of the violin being Cinesamples' Taylor Davis library - lately it's been my favourite solo violin lib, works wonders.
